Fix Your Feet Naturally: 8 Easy Steps to Beautiful, Healthy Feet
Natural remedies for dry skin, swelling and tension
Summer is on the way – but are your feet ready to be seen?
If they’re feeling a bit dry, cracked, swollen or tense, don’t worry – I’ve got you.
These 8 simple steps will help you fix your feet naturally and get them looking soft, smooth and nourished in no time.
1. Get Scrubbing

Just rinsing your feet in the shower won’t cut it. To truly care for your feet, gently scrub them with a soft brush.
This boosts circulation and helps prevent hard skin (calluses), which can block moisture from getting in.
Scrubbing regularly keeps the skin supple and receptive to hydration.
2. Exfoliate the Natural Way

A good natural foot scrub can work wonders. The gentle granules remove dead skin and help smooth out rough patches – especially useful if your feet tend to feel flaky or dry.
Top tip: If you’re lucky enough to walk barefoot on the beach, let the sand exfoliate your feet naturally. Just be gentle – sand is coarser than it seems!
3. Smooth with a Pumice or Rasp

If you’ve got a build-up of hard skin (especially around your heels), use a foot rasp or pumice stone a few times a week. Work gently for a few minutes, then rinse and pat dry.
Once your feet feel softer, you can reduce this to once a week or fortnight to maintain the results.
4. Hydrate with the Right Moisturiser
Now your feet are clean and smooth, it’s time to hydrate and nourish them deeply.
Avoid moisturisers with paraffin or petroleum-based ingredients, as these can block the skin and increase sweating.
Instead, choose something natural and deeply nourishing, like Renew Intensive Foot Moisturiser, made with shea butter, cocoa butter, and refreshing essential oils of lemon, peppermint and tea tree.
Your feet will thank you.
5. Massage to Boost Circulation
A foot massage feels amazing, and it’s also brilliant for your circulation, skin health, relaxation and lymph drainage.

After your bath or shower, take a moment to massage in your moisturiser:
- Work all over the foot, including in between toes and around your ankles
- Use thumbs for the top and fingers for the soles
- Focus on any areas that feel tense or tired
Fun tip: Compare the massaged foot with the one you haven’t done yet — you’ll see the difference in colour and softness!
6. Trim Those Nails

Even though toenails grow more slowly than fingernails, regular trimming is essential.
Always cut straight across with clippers and gently file the corners. Avoid cutting down the sides, which can lead to painful ingrown nails.
7. Shine Naturally
For a natural, healthy shine, apply a drop of jojoba oil to your toenails at night and massage it in.
This helps nourish the nail bed and keeps your nails looking clean and healthy, without any polish needed.
Tip: Our Restore Luxury Body oil works a treat for both your skin and nails too!
8. Relieve Tension with Foot Rolling
Your feet carry you all day – no wonder they get tired and tense!

Rolling a massage ball (or even a tennis ball) under your feet helps release tight muscles and fascia, improve circulation, and ease pain.
This simple self-massage technique, known as self-myofascial release, can boost flexibility and even reduce tension in other parts of your body.
Just a few minutes a day makes a big difference.
